The Team

Mike Moffat - Owner/Operator

I was raised in the Pacific Northwest. So, when the military gave my family the chance to relocate to the Puget Sound area, we jumped at the opportunity to be back home. After seven years as an Army logistics officer, including a deployment to Afghanistan, my wife and I decided we wanted to settle in the Northwest and raise our four young daughters here.

Prior to my military service, I graduated from Brigham Young University and worked in the pest control industry for many years with three different companies from California to North Carolina. I was fortunate to learn the business from the ground up.

I saw great practices among the companies I worked for, but also saw things that left customers frustrated with their experience. This was mostly due to a lack of communication, not listening to the customer, little attention to detail, and damaging or dirtying property. Companies just didn't seem to really care about their customers, this bothered me.

I saw the need for a pest control company that consistently delivered a great customer experience along with a premium service. I started Rainier Pest Control to provide that to my customers. I'm passionate about getting excellent results for my customers and hope you'll see that.

In my free time I love exploring the outdoors with my wife and daughters, skiing, kayaking, and biking. I'm always on the lookout for great street tacos.
